Tasks

Tasks in GeoWork are a way to share information about who has to do what in which project. They are designed to simplify cooperation between users within a project and to provide a clear overview of a user’s duties across all projects. Because of this, there are two separate tabs nabed "Tasks" within GeoWork:

  1. Tasks in a project

    • Within a project, the project functions sidebar contains a tab for "Tasks".
    • This tab is used to manage tasks within the specific project and is available to users who are members of that project.
  2. Tasks in the dashboard

    • The dashboard also contains a tab called "Tasks"s.
    • This tab is used to manage all tasks related to a specific user account.
    • It lists all tasks that are assigned to or by that user account.

When a task is assigned, it always has to be linked to a project.

The assignement process is done by users in a project that have the permissions to do so, and can be assigned to any user within that project.
