Vehicle details

There are numerous details about each vehicle that needs to be entered during the process of creating a vehicle, some of them can be edited later.

1. Name​

Here you may enter a name or to recognise the vehicle by.

2. Model​

Here you may enter the exact model of the vehicle that you are pairing. This detail may be written on the vehicle, or provided in any way by the vehicles' manufacturer. (Ex. R5D, Espace, 7245, Fabia, Mini 4K, ...).

3. Manufacturer​

Here you may enter the name of the company or brand that have created your exact vehicle. (Ex. Mobis0ne, Renault, Zetor, Škoda, DJI, ...)

4. Vehicle type​

In this option dropbox, you may select what sort of vehicle your vehicle is. GeoWork is going to treat the vehicle based on the option you select. The options are:

In case that youre vehicle is not one of the first 3 options, please chose the option "Other". Unfortunately, GeoWork may not be able to treat all of your vehicles' special function properly. Our team is working on adding support for other vehicles.

5. Icon​

In this option dropbox, you may select an icon, under which the vehicle is going to be displayed. There are numerous options offered by GeoWork:

  • Ambulance
  • Tractor
  • Combine harvester
  • Helicopter
  • Quadrocopter
  • Hexacopter
  • Balloon
  • Airship
  • Car

6. Color​

Here you may chose the color under which the vehicle may appear inside projects. It is set to black by default and it does not have to be edited.

7. License plate​

Here you may input the vehicles' license plate if your vehicle disposes of one.

8. Authentication type​

In this option dropbox, you may select the way you want to connect the virtual vehicle inside GeoWork to your physical, real-life vehicle. There are is one option:

9. Parent marker state value​

10. Share location to project​

In this option dropbox, you may select a project into which you want to share the location of your vehicle. Confirm your choice by pressing the "share location to project" button.

12. Additional pairing settings​

There are two information lines and two buttons in this detail section:

  1. Pared: A.: Yes

    • if a user paired a vehicle through the authentication type during the creation process, and the process was sucsessfull, this option may appear B.: No
    • if a user tried to pair a vehicle through the authentication type during the creation process, but the process did not suceed, this option may appear
    • if a user did not set up the authentication type during the creation process of the vehicle, this option may appear

  2. Generate new API key

  • if the user did not pair a device (mentioned in "paired"), or the pairing did not sucseed, or the user wants to reset up the paring through a API key, this button may be used
  • pressing this button generates a new API key for this virtual vehicle
  • vehicles connected through the old key may be un-connected
  • vehicles can no longer be connected using the old key

13. Location​

This map, showed in the pop up, shows the location of the paired vehicle.
